because you’re so over the endless hours of googling to find the perfect invitation suite and totally ready for the unique stationery you’re envisioning to be brought to life
Say hell yes to zero-stress Custom Stationery
Inviting people to your big day isn’t like passing a note to your friends in high school chemistry class with a quick “you coming tonight?” written on a scrap of paper. For most people on your guest list, your invitation is their first introduction to your partner and a sneak peek at the epic soiree you’re planning. Your invitation suite should scream your love story and embody you and you’re partner’s personalities.
Whether you two love late nights playing Mario Kart on your original 64, binge-watching every episode of Gilmore Girls or date night at the Huskers game, your stationery should absolutely tell your story.
Having a zero-stress stationery situation means that every custom design includes…
- All the designs + artwork for the cards in your suite
- Double-Sided Printing
- Fully Addressed Envelopes (to include white ink printing)
- USPS Postage
- Luxe Eggshell 120lb Paper
- Assembly of every suite
Couples can expect to spend around $2,800 for 100 Custom invitation suites (invitation with lined envelopes and RSVP card with Lined Envelopes). Pricing varies based on quantity and any additional items or upgrades you wish to add such as wax seals, vintage postage, letterpress printing, acrylic cards or anything else you have envisioned for your dream stationery suite. The average couple spends $3,500 on their custom stationery.
Once you send over your dream stationery questionnaire, I’ll be able to curate a custom stationery suite that’s absolutely perfect for your budget and wedding vibe.
The Custom Design Process
After shooting me your dream stationery questionnaire, I’ll put together a custom quote with a curated stationery suite that perfectly fits your budget and vision. Then we’ll hop on a call or meet up for coffee to discuss all your questions and go over the process.
To save your spot on my design schedule, I require a 50% non-refundable retainer.
Now that your big days marked in sharpie on my schedule, you’ll gain access to your client portal where your homework will be waiting. This in-depth questionnaire gives me all the details I need to start sketching up your one-of-a-kind stationery design.
Based on you and your partner’s answers to your homework, I’ll 2-3 different design options from which you’ll make the final, I do!
Now that you’ve chosen what your suite’s overall look will be, I’ll get to work drawing, painting and adding all the color to bring it to life.
We’ll make sure every detail is just right during our two in-depth revision sessions and get your suite ready to be printed.
Looking fab and ready for it’s time to shine, your suite is off to the printers. Then I’ll get to work assembling. That’s right! This is a hands-off experience just for you. I’ll be the one to glue, stamp, stuff, tie and mail everything.
Your stationery suite will arrive in your guest’s mailbox ready to introduce your guests to your big day! How’s that sound?!
Let’s go make some magic!
Frequently Asked Questions
The average couple pays $2800 for 100 custom invitations suites that include an Invitation with an addressed, stamped + lined envelope and an RSVP Card with a pre-addressed, stamped + lined envelope.
Because no two invitation suites are alike, and your vision is unique, submit my Dream Stationery Questionnaire to get a custom quote with an invitation suite curated just for your budget and vision.
Although Beauty Bright Design is located in Lincoln, NE, I design stationery for couples and party planners all around the world. (My designs have gone as far as Australia which is literally the opposite end of the world!)
Abso-freakin-lutely! If you don’t live in the US, I will carefully package up your stationery and ship it straight to your door ready to be snail-mailed (or hand-delivered) to your guests.
The custom design process on average takes 10-12 weeks, but this varies greatly on the materials and print methods used in the design. I always encourage couples to reach out at least 6 months prior to their big day to ensure there is ample time to bring their stationery vision to life and give their guests time to respond before they need to give their vendors the final headcount.
I currently offer digital (flat), letterpress, foil, and thermographic printing options.
Just as an FYI, letterpress, foil and thermographic printing techniques tend to have a longer turnaround time for your custom wedding invitations. So if you are considering one of these techniques for your dream stationery we will need to start the design process further in advance of your big day. These printing methods will also increase the average cost of your suite by $1000-$1500. So be sure sure to keep this in mind if your heart is set on these unique printing styles.
I always recommend locking in your spot on my calendar at least 6 months to a year out from your wedding. As I only design 12 custom stationery suites per year, locking in your date early will guarantee we get a chance to work together!
If you are considering sending out Save-the-Dates we will need to chat at least a year out from your wedding. If you are on the fence about save the dates, this post may help.
I do not offer digital downloads or custom stationery templates at this time. My mission is to make sure your custom stationery suite is exactly what you envisioned and so I have partnered with the best printers and hand assemble every suite to make sure that happens.
